“There’s No Law Against Using Girls In Hijab” – Falz

Rapper Folarin Falana aka Falz the Bahd guy has reacted to the criticism and backlash his new music video has generated.

The viral song #ThisisNigeria not only exposes many societal ills, it also depicted the ills through a video which has since caused a lot of controversy on the social media.
The biggest controversy is the use of vixen in Hijab by the rapper. A Muslim organization has gone as far as threatening Falz with a lawsuit if he doesn’t withdraw the video and tender an apology.
Falz has however said that his use of the vixens was intentional but Nigerians love to face the trivia and neglect the issue.

Speaking in a recent interview, Falz had asked if there was any law against his actions, the Lawyer son of a Lawyer had said that :

“It was very intentional. We continue to forget or neglect the innocence of the girl child and because of all the issues that we are having, the kidnappings and the killings especially in the Northern part of the country, the Chibok girls and very more recently the Dapchi girls, It is very disturbing and we don’t often talk about them and I was a bit surprised to hear people say why would you put girls in Hijab to dance Shaku Shaku…common, is there anything wrong with people dancing because they are wearing Hijabs? Is their any law against that?”He asked rhetorically.
